At my niece's wedding rehearsal. I will be giving her away tomorrow.The groom's dad, a magistrate judge, is choking up today. Tomorrow will be interesting. When he cries during the ceremony I will be giving him a hard time for a year even though I know from experience how difficult it is to perform a marriage for someone important to you.
*Update: Forgot to mention the wedding is being held in the Judge's back yard. This will be the second wedding I have attended in the judge's yard. The first being my own. At that time how could I have ever guessed my niece would ever marry the judge's son in the same place?
*Update 2: I should point out that when you are the judge having a wedding rehearsal in your own back yard you can wear whatever the hell you want.
