I've been going through some old cell pics, cleaning up my pictures directory and posting a few of them here along with some new photos. This one was taken a couple winters ago on a vaccination day in December. All heifers are vaccinated three times while they are on our place. Twice at this size (at a 2-4 week interval) and once again after they reach 850 pounds, just before they are bred. I should say, rather, that they are vaccinated three time by us. They also receive a fourth vaccination for Bangs, or Brucellosis, by a veterinarian. Usually when they are about the size of these pictured here.
